Modern Slavery Statement
IGA Talent Solutions is part of the Ignata private equity group.
This statement is made pursuant to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that Ignata Limited has taken and is continuing to take to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain.
Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour. IGA has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business or our supply chain.
Our business:
IGA are a Recruitment agency who recruit for permanent and contract roles covering the below areas;
High-risk areas:
As IGA screen all candidates and meet with them personally as well as checking they are fully compliant and have the right to work in the UK, we do not consider our business as high-risk due to the policies and processes we have in place. We are fully aware of every contractor’s payroll provider and have all information required for our LTD company contractors therefore we know which bank account we release funds into. The potential risk regarding our supply chain is also low due to renewing our preferred supplier list of umbrella companies and ensuring the appropriate vetting process has been carried out to eliminate any non-compliant payroll providers.
Our policies:
We operate several internal policies to ensure that we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. These include:
Our suppliers:
IGA operates a supplier policy and maintains a preferred supplier list. We conduct due diligence on all suppliers before allowing them to become a preferred supplier - this due diligence includes an online search and a series of vetting checks. Our anti-slavery policy forms part of our contract with all suppliers and they are required to confirm that no part of their business operations contradicts this policy.
As IGA currently meet the criteria of the Modern Slavery ACT 2015 legislation. Therefore, by law we need to publish a modern slavery statement which will be reviewed annually. If your business isn’t eligible to the criteria, we do ask that our suppliers abide by this legislation, as we do.
Training:
We regularly conduct training for our Recruitment consultants/Operational and Finance staff so that they understand the signs of modern slavery and what to do if they suspect that it is taking place within our supply chain.
Our performance indicators:
We will know the effectiveness of the steps that we are taking to ensure that slavery and/or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain if:
